excel -- match double results

Sorry to be asking such basic question.

1) I would like to check if DATE1(A3:A8) is present/matches DATE2 (D3:D33) and display the results one under the other in separate rows

this is extra---[formula must add a row so it doesn’t overwrite existing data if the next row isn’t empty].

So far I have tried:

• Index+match (E3:E12/ A15:J15) | works ok but, when we have duplicates it displays the first one and I don’t know how to tell him to separate results in different rows.

• Index+small+if | something like this http://eimagine.com/how-to-return-multiple-match-values-in-excel-using-index-match-or-vlookup/ but I couldn’t get it to work and I know it’s an array so ctrl+shift+enter
