Hey guys, just a quickie

 

Im planning to buy 2 JBL LSR 305 speakers and want to hook them up primarily to my desktop but also want to be able to set them up with my macbook pro when I dock it and plug it into my monitor.

 

I am looking at one of them Focusrite Scarlett interfaces: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Focusrite-Scarlett-Audio-Interface-Tools/dp/B01E6T56CM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1511813972&sr=8-1&keywords=focusrite+audio+interface but they only have one usb cable to plug slot to connect to my desktop PC

 

If I were to buy these, any ideas of a way to hook up my macbook as and when I want?

why not just use any old receiver?

This will sound stupid af but could you elaborate on what you mean by receiver? Im stupid ik
