No. You cannot download the ISO legally unless you have a product code. I figured this out whilst trying to setup a VM. You can also run Ubuntu if all of the games you play are compatible, that's free! Then keep it if you like it, or switch to Windows once you feel like doing that.

Enter your Steam ID here: http://steam.bravehost.com/ to figure out if that'll work(scanning might take a while depending on how much games you have). If you decide to do that click here to download.

Yeah 250GB will be more than enough at first.

https://www.windowscentral.com/you-do-not-need-activate-windows-10

ill activate it later when i have the money.

M.2 is a form factor, just like 2,5" and 3,5". NVMe drives don't actually impact performance, unless you read and write many big files to and from storage. The 3GB 1060 performs about 5% worse than the 6GB version, and both are generally outperformed by the RX 580.

@ThePumkinMelon, Well it's up to you, Ya have the modified version which will only cost $30 more, With a changed PSU,GPU,Storage and Case (Yours looked great but i'm not one for flashy cases.) If you went with your case it would cost and extra $40-$60   of your original budget if changed on my recommendation. But anyway you post seems good, Ya got a alteration from me and @sean123 with his coming in at $820 roughly with the removal of your fans n cable accessories

Some people prefer a challenge, I just band my head against a wall until my method works...

i liked your build but i think im going to go with mine bc 1: i like that case 2: i make games and move a lot of assets around (resone for m.2) 3: The 3GB 1060 is 75$ off i think 5-ish% proformence is worth 100$+.

@Alex Colson I i'm going with a 250GB SSD like you said i don't think m.2 would make a big diff for me in the long run.

going to just save some money and get a game or somthing.
