lost in the jungle motherboard bottleneck

i have a i7 7700k cpu and a 1080 ti Poseidon from asus and i don't know what motherboard would be the best choice i have look at rog strix z270e gaming and the rog Maximus IX hero . i will be overclock cpu, ram and gpu

Well if you're not willing to fork out the cash, then why are you asking?

 

Your mobo won't really ever bottleneck your system (unless you get a REALLY cheap one). So it really comes down to the features you want...
