Ok so i’ve been trying to put together a new pc with old and new parts this christmas. Just want to make sure there aren’t going to be any big problems with this build and that it will go somewhat smoothly

Well the 970 is one of the things i do already have. Sadly i bought it right before the 10s came out.

Well im getting these new: cpu, case, ram, mobo, some rgb, some 140mm fans everything else i already have

Would it be fine to order another set of 2x4 vengeance? Im not going to add any more than 16 and i kinda already have the other ram ordered

Yah, that works too :)

I would wait and see if 8GB is enough, for some people it is, others need 16GB.
