it went wrong

so I was trying to do some things with the new pc and it just "kaploot". "died" I guess the psu made a weird noise and the cpu was like a bazzilion degree's and I have no idea what to do

oh that pc was temporary I just never changed it, I just "rented" it from a friend while I built this pc

asus sabertooth 990fx R2.0

a 1 x 8 gb stick rsm (I think) by corsair

and random other parts I don't know

Well that's probably why it died on you. If you power the PSU without it connected to any parts, does the fan spin?

Yes. It might just be a dead PSU and hopefully the other parts are still working.

If I were you, I would try to get a GOOD replacement PSU.  Since there is no way to test the other parts, I would assume the worse.
