ActionScript 3.0 Thread For All of You Flash Programming Lovers.

Just a thread to discuss about ActionScript 3.0 and what Adobe is going to do with it, will it die or will it live on?

I learned programming in AS 2.0 when I first started. Most of the fun I had was using a program called mProjector, which added libraries geared towards desktop software and compiled to an executable, spent most of my time from age 12 to 14 making windowless desktop widgets and the like. Really fun and easy.

 

I always hoped adobe would eventually add that kind of feature to the language but instead we got flex and all that nonsense :(  Makes me sad.
