Hi, I recently tested my internet connection (yes, I am sure, that I was testing internet and not local network) and got such results, that I can't turn my head around. I am using integrated network card in the gigabyte GA-55A-UD4 and a Cat6 cable. How can I get over 1 gigabit with that card? For some context - during the test the results were always higher then 1000 megabits per second with spikes to about 4500 megabits per second.

Thank you if you have an answer!

If you run the test again, do you get the same results? Sounds like either a bug or possibly some type of compression that's being taken into account.

I do get the same result with other runs. Well, not up to 4k, but still over 1024

Have you tried something other than speedtest? Try some other speed tests and see what you get. It's simply impossible to get over 1000Mbps as that's the limit of your NIC.

Your MOBO has a 10/100/1000 LAN port so if you have that speed then that is what you are getting. Do the same test on dslreports.com

Will do it in the morning and get back with the results. And thanks as for now.
