The ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4's Memory QVL shows that F4-3200C14D-32GTZR is supported. I want to purchase the F4-3200C14D-16GTZR, but it doesn't show up on the QVL. The only difference between the two model numbers is that the supported one says 32 while the one I want says 16. Would the F4-3200C14D-16GTZR still be compatible even though the exact model isn't listed?

It means the kit is 16GB instead of 32GB, so it's really the same thing. The "R" at the end shows that it's designed for Ryzen by the way.

I think the 32 means 32 gb and 16 means 16 gb ? is that correct ? if so, should not have any problems

With the current BIOS updates, you'll be fine. I have that RAM and it is not on my motherboard's QVL either, but it works fine.

The "R" stands for RGB. The ones that have an extra "X" in the end like these ones are Ryzen compatible.

If I buy the kit you linked, it will work on the motherboard that I am going to buy?

The F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX is not listed on the QVL

It has the X at the end, so it should be compatible. A lot of manufacturers don't update the qvl lists often.

It works on both X370 (Ryzen) and X399 (Threadripper) boards.

It's too new for board manufacturers to include.

So if I got the F4-3200C14D-16GTZR it would work perfectly fine?

This is a Single Rank 2x8GB kit with Samsung B-Die chips. It will most likely work with any Ryzen board made. I'd love to have that kit.

For the record, the two model numbers F4-3200C14D-16GTZR and F4-3200C14D-32GTZR are actually slightly different. Both are Samsung B-Die, but the 32 version is Dual Rank. Probably wouldn't matter too much, however.
