I agree, maybe the way i said it really looks like a LOL content . However, I really do want to see a video on water cooled Antminers, detailed ones like linus videos, so i can attempt to do it myself. Dissipating heat using the built in fans is not enough.

Actually, building a 64 core machine out of old server parts for only $650 was actually super interesting.  I'd hardly call that for the 'lawls' when it came off at a remarkable price point.  They also stressed that it'd be far more capable at content creation rather than gaming but benched it to see how well it'd do in gaming (Everyone would have demanded it if they didn't).

 

That said, while the machine came out onto of much more expensive new hardware, it was a complicated build and horrendously energy efficient.

 

But yeah, I'd certainly not call that 'LOL content' by a long shot.

Yes, they tested it for both and said it was far more capable for content creation than gaming.  They did a range of content creation type benchmarks.  They even specifically used "Gaming Workstation" in the video title.  This hyper focus on 'Gaming' only is you, not LTT.

Personally, I thought that video was really interesting.  It's always fascinating to see what you can pull out of older, recycled hardware and what it can do in the right application.
