New Build

Thinking of getting a new build to treat myself for getting a new job with much better pay. I game on my computer and want to get into Video editing but also just want some good old hardware porn sitting on my desk. I want to keep it under 3k. Here is what i had in mind.

 

CPU: i7-8700k

GPU: ASUS GeForce 1080 TI

MOBO: Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Gaming 7

CPU Fan: NZXT Kraken x62

RAM: 32GB of Tridentz Gskill or corsair dominator

CASE: Inwin 805 Infinity

 

right now i have a 1200W PSU and fans and M.2 SSD and 500GB SSD so im good on storage and power. Please give me any advice or recommendations. Thanks!

 

Extra: And how do you guys get rid or sell of your old rigs? I have a 4790k Right now with a custom loop and a gtx 1080 with 16GB of ram.

You should be at max spending 2k on a PC(excluding Custom loops)any more than that and your basically just burning money

Well.. you have mostly the best parts available... so... not much to say.,.. lol

You've got pretty much all the highest end stuff. But going from a custom loop to an AiO?

You might want to swap the case, and/or add some decent fans

damn that one looks pretty cool. Im picking my parts out of Microcenter.com but i did not see it on there might have to go on newegg.
