I bought that one in April this year for 120€. Now it's 260€ and prices seems to be rising all the time.

Are those prices ever going down to same point they were before?

It would come in handy to have additional 16GB RAM in my new Coffe Lake build, but no way I'm paying 260€ for it.

Let me know your opinion on RAM prices and if we can (when) expect prices to start dropping.

Rams going up and probably going to stay up for a while, your best bet is probably the used market as ram really doesn't break

Well with my bad luck from buying used hardware, I rather wouldn't buy used one.

Will have to survive with 16GB for some time then ...

What do you do with the build? 16gb should be more than enough for most games and workloads. You make it sound like it's going to be hard to run with 16gb lol.

16GB is more than enough for any gamer these days.

But I'm not only gaming on my PC ... Hyper-V is reason for my 32GB need.
