Hi guys,

I have an EVGA gtx 970 SC that was OC'd to +50mhz on clock and +450mhz on memory.

I also have my ryzen 1600X OC'd to 3.9Ghz @1.375v

The title says it all. Had a GPU overclock that was rock stable for months, only to have it crash after my creators update (which i was forced into!). Had to dial it down considerably to +40 on core and +350 on memory. Anyone had anything similar happen? Any advice?

I would check you're running the same driver version(s) as before. I can't think of any reason why a different version of Windows would suddenly make an overclock unstable, unless it's driver related since that's the only real interface between your programs and the hardware.

Also, perhaps reset all your settings to default and try to apply your overclock again - I'm assuming you're overclocking using software instead of through flashing a different vbios etc, so it's possible your saved oc settings simply aren't being applied properly.
