Processor help

Could anyone help me with a processor choice? I'm torn between two processors. The i5-8600k and the i7-8700k. I am going to be gaming 80% of the time however, I want to try and start doing some streaming. Would the 8700k be better at gaming thanks to the extra threads? I read that the extra threads would help keep a more stable FPS compared to the 8600k. Currently I am able to get an 8600k for £270, and the 8700k for roughly £400. Thanks

If you want just game then both are a great choice the i7 will probably be a bit better at streaming while gaming and be a bit more future proof when more and more games start to utilize more threads/cores. I think if you just game the 130 difference in price isn`t worth it to get the i7.

I´d go with the i5-8600k every day of the week, normal plebs like us won´t normally have use for that i7 powerhouse lel

i7, bcoz games become way more cpu intensive in the last few years, to make sure it wont become a bottleneck shortly just get an i7 especially since u wanna stream too, even if the full threads wont be used in some games... the newest games arleady take advantage of it ( assasins creed origins and what not ) so yeah i7 is worth every penny unless u only play emulators or smt ( or csgo lol )
