Hi, I've just hit a stone wall here. Bought a --- hang on, getting a beer, story time.....

So I've just bought a SONY HT-RT3 surround sound bar last night, with those two sattelites at the rear, was hoping I could fix the sound of my home cinema, as the Behringer MS16 - while great for music - weren't quite delivering the pulp that movies need. Along with it, I got a $15 optical cable, and after a couple hours spent fitting the sound bar and sattelites to the wall, I'm ready to plug the stuff in, and sure enough, there's no S/PDIF port on the back of my motherboard! Figure that, my other 10 year old mobo had one, but a modern day X370 doesn't! Trying to fix the problem without having to return the sound system and leaving a bunch of nasty holes in the walls of my newly renovated home cinema, I ended up [drinking a few beers researching and...] ordering a Creative Omni 5.1 USB sound card, which was not cheap at all (and naturally did not go unnoticed by my wife, the owner of the card I made the purchase with). Now, the sound card is not the issue here, it was not even shipped yet by the seller, but I figured as I was playing with the BT connection and my phone late at night [after many beers] that I could actually connect this to my PC with a $7 BT adapter and I could just return the sound card I ordered! So today [after zero beers] I rushed to the shop, returned the $15 cable, and got a BT adapter instead! My wife was happy to hear I could likely solve this issue for $7. But I got back home, plugged in the BT adapter, paired the speakers, and BAM! instant disapointment! The speakers were correctly recognized, but only work in stereo (see driver details here)! I've since contacted SONY support, and they kindly offered to give me a Microsoft support link; I told support guy to not bother - I got the idea while googling some more stuff as I was waiting for him to reply: THERE'S NO SUPPORT FOR SURROUND VIA BT??? I mean, what kind of poor tech is this? I've been playing music off my phone through BT speakers for years - you'd think that by now, with Bluetooth 4.0 they'd have figured out how to push moar channels!

AAAnyway, the sound card is yet to be delivered, and Yeah I will have to buy the $15 cable again, but I'm still hoping any of you guys know of some dank 5.1 via BT drivers that I could install, or any other solution to make this work, so I can return the $75 sound card and make my wife proud again :)
