iPhone X hack is bs

Last night on WAN show, Luke talked about how you can unlock an iPhone X with a mask. Luke was talking about how they are upset with Apple because apple said your eyes must be open to unlock the phone. I am here to say this is bs. By default iPhone X does need your eyes however you can disable this. I do not know why you would want to disable this but you can do it. The actual mask, I have my doubts but Apple is constantly working  on fixing things like this. I just wanted to give a shout out. Someone tag Ed so he can see this.

The mask actually happened tough. The software security firm who made it even has whole articles about how they made it. It isn't 'bs'

The security firm didn't publish any paper on the subject nor state their methodology for the mask. I wouldn't even consider their one-time activation and success as a valuable source especially since they could have trained equal amounts on the mask and the human thereby adding variance to the maps that FaceID takes each time. The firm could have also tested the cameraman to see if it would stay locked or not.
