Im playing dota2 and  Fortnite atm,  Im looking to play at 60fps/1080p level, ( which I can at   Low  settings atm)

Im not going over ~350$  ( canadian)  for my next Gpu but  If   a 1060 6gb is overkill on my current system I have no issue  dialing down to  a 1050ti or  a  1060 3gb or  an AMD  Variant

I just upgraded  My  setup   (  beside  the gpu/case/powersuply)

Im now running
r3 1200 @ 3.8mhz
2x4gb  ddr 4 3000mhz @ 2933mhz

Msi  B350m Pro Vdh Mobo

- old
Evga   Gtx 650 Ti Boost 2gb
thermaltake   smart series  650w 80+ Bronze   PSU
 antec  three hundre mid tower
Syncmaster e2320 24''  monitor

1tb  WD blue  7200rpm HDD

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

RX 580 on newegg right now for 320.00$ CAD (4GB) & 360.00$ CAD (8GB)

GTX 1060 6GB is 360.00$ CAD for a dual fan card.

Basically the same price, do not get the 3GB 1060 and I would highly recommend getting the 8GB rx 580 over the 4GB as its only 40.00$ it gives you better options to play at 1440p in the future.

Seeing as you have a ryzen based system I would go with the RX 580 8GB later down the line it allows you to get a Freesync high refresh rate monitor which are generally cheaper than a gsync variant.

I personally own a RX 580 ASUS "Dual" 8GB gpu and its great plays all the games I want at 1080p high settings @ 100+ FPS.  I have it matched with a Asus MB248Q 144hz freesync monitor which makes for an excellent experience. and now that the prices have come down I would say its a decent buy.  I would personally wait to see if any go on sale coming up in the next week.

Good luck
