Can't access settings page

marsdeat
Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

It looks like it's a discord issue, which is a third party plugin. I'll look into it and see if I can prevent it from happening in future, but for now were you trying to do anything in particular in settings (I can manually update some things for you if needed)?

I can't access the https://linustechtips.com/main/settings/ page, I keep getting an error:

Quote

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX0

I've tried it several times, including logging out and back in, and logging in with my forum account and my Google account on different occasions, and I still can't get it to work.

Browser: Firefox 56.0 64-bit, on Ubuntu

Also tested and same problem on Google Chrome 62.0.3202.94 64-bit

I did link with Discord yesterday, and that's the only major change I can think of recently.

That's odd... I'm able to, thus removing the server-side issue factor. Are you using any VPNs or Proxies?

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

Nope. I'm on a bare connection outbound. My university VPN and Tunnelbear are both turned off.

I did notice that my Discord appears to have desynced since I added it yesterday - I can't use it to log in now.

I'm going to try it on mobile, now.

Good idea, if it works on your mobile, then we know it's something with your computer's connection.

Nope, it's not working on mobile either, by WiFi or LTE.

It looks like it's a discord issue, which is a third party plugin. I'll look into it and see if I can prevent it from happening in future, but for now were you trying to do anything in particular in settings (I can manually update some things for you if needed)?

@marsdeat can you try again now?

I've only just got back online for today. I just tried to access it, and that seems to have worked, thank you.
