Trying to figure out what exactly the differences between the Nvidia Quadro cards and the Nvidia KVS cards. Specifically PNY's Quadro K1200 and KVS 510.

My business scenario here is we have a wall mounted Dell P4317Q multi-client monitor that can split 4 inputs to each "quadrant" of the monitor. We don't want 4 separate computers hooked up to this thing since it's only for dashboards, metrics, etc so we have an older Dell Optiplex 790 Desktop Form Factor hooked up. We did a proof of concept with a VGA and DisplayPort to HDMI cable and just used windows built in multi monitor extended desktops setting and it worked fine so now we want to get all 4 inputs going.

Looking for a graphics card that will work. The KVS 510's low profile should do the trick but with the monitor's inputs being 2 HDMI, 1 mini-DP, and 1 DP - we've got to use a series of adapters, etc to get it all running. I attached an image of how the hook ups should work.

Beyond the differences of the two cards, anyone see any issues with this setup?

Appreciate it all.

The cable setup looks fine, just make sure your wall connectors are decent quality. Cheap connections can make a for a bad experience.

K1200 will have better performance with newer generation maxwell architecture, gddr5 instead of ddr3, 4GB vram instead of 2GB, and more than double the cuda cores. That being said, I believe it would be a better choice though it may not be needed if all you want to do is display mostly static information.
