Yep

hy there! :)
I'm planning to build a 1080p gaming pc with a 1050ti and ryzen 3, and i'm on a tight budget. I can't decide whether to buy a b350 mb with a r3 1200 and overclock a little(i have neved done it), or get an a320 mb with a 1300x and don't overclock. These 2 combo costs about the same in my country.
can you help?

The 1300X would be better for overclocking and all round as you'll only be able to bump the R3 1200 a tiny bit anyway.

Whats the build list?

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

Do not agree.

If you want people to see that you've replied, quote them. Also, you should substantiate your claims

ryzen 3 1200 or 1300x (can't decide)
an a320 or b350 (can't decide)
8gb ddr4 dual-channel Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2400MHz
msi or evga 1050 ti
Chieftec smart 500w

WD blue 1tb 7200rpm

With the 1300X, its a higher binned chip with higher clockspeeds, thats what your paying the extra $20 for. Get the R3 1200, it does have the stock wraith spire cooler included in the box, you can get around 3.7GHz or 3.8GHz stable, with the saved $20, buy a decent aftermarket cooler such as the CRYORIG H7 or hyper 212 evo to obtain a nice overclock of 4.0GHz.

Don't cheap out on the PSU, as it can kill the entire system. Something like the Pure Power 10 or the CX450 shouldn't cost too much

:)

  1. R3 1200
  2. B350 motherboard=overclocking, A320 motherboard=no overclocking supported
  3. 8GB of ddr4 RAM at that speed is a good choice
  4. EVGA is cheaper, MSI is a little more expensive
  5. get a better PSU, like the CX500M from corsair
  6. Good HDD choice

that not what reviewers tell, they are exactly the same (i mean AMD does not appear to chose cpus for the x's), the rest is silicon lottery

The CX500M isn't that good. The CX450 usually costs less, and is better

I agree, considering that the overall system power consumption isnt that much.

I mean, yes, the X variants have slightly higher base/turbo clockspeeds, but they are the same when overclocked.

What's the difference between CX450 and CX450M?

The CX450M is semi-modular, meaning you can remove some cables

Thank you I see now, the site I'm browsing showed modularity on both, guess the description is wrong.

So I shouldn't pay extra for the 1300x and instead OC the 1200 and maybe get an aftermarket cooler?

Sad thing is: 1050 ti start at $180 here :( and 1060 3gb starts at $240 :(
