Help network gone strange

Hello I recently had a virus called chromewin somthing but to remove It I deleted the

%WinDir%\System32\GroupPolicyUsers”

And Group policy contents to remove it I read online.

 

I restarted my pc I can use the internet but I cannot use any software network. 

For example on steam it says. 

Error Code: -105 Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet.-------- but my friend list is online

Origin the same

Skype - Sorry we could not connect to skype

Discord - Failed to connect 

But search engines are working any help?

Can you get on the internet using internet explorer? (Steam uses IE as the back end browser).

Check your proxy settings, a lot of virus change your proxy settings

I reset it all checked the proxy settings its all clear. Every other browser is working apart from Ie it still says 

Can’t reach this page - But thanks we know that Ie is the issue.
