Is this good?

Should i go with this monitor https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-UltraWide-Widescreen-X34/dp/B016GNX4SE/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 or that https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-SWIFT-PG348Q-3440x1440/dp/B01C83BE6U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1510753179&sr=8-3&keywords=asus+ultra+wide+gaming+monitor im really REALLY worried about the blacklight bleed since im going to finance my payments,

Both are excellent monitors. As they're both good, I'd go with the X34 and save a bit of money.

Iv been really worried like the reviews iv been reading are making me sweat about the backlight bleeding people are almost saying that those monitors are not worth buying what do you think?

every monitor has bleed.
all of them
no exception.

people make a bigger deal of it than it is. and unless you're plaing a super dark game like thief. you would rarely realise it.

So it's not something like u have to return the monitor? because some people said the bleed like start moving across the screen and it gets worse

I have a friend who's had that monitor. and he never really did any of that.

he got it from his brother, who decided to down the resolution. whatfor performance.
there's some. but not much.

 

I mean, you could alwais go to a computer store and ask to see one before you buy. they'll most likely show you.

thats what I do with all my monitors. I alwais have a look before I buy.

its a pretty good monitor. + you'll be able to run it better with the lower resolution.  and will be buttery smooth if you got the gpu power.

speaking of that, what is your gpu ?

pretty simple. lower resolutions takes less power to, well resolve 

there's less data to handle. the speed also makes a difference.
1080p is obviously easier for a gpu to handle than 4k.

oooohhh I got confused. I looked at the first number, 3440 I red 3840, though it was a 4k

my bad.( I was saying going from 4k to 1440p will be easier for the gpu)

Like  i said money aint a problem im willing to spend 1k for a good monitor. but i don't see any perfect monitor

there's never a perfect one.

but tbh, I settled on a 400$ (cad) 4k ips monitor 2 years ago and its really good. no gsync. but really good.
there's alwais compromises to make. its for you to decide.
