Samsung U28E850R 28-Inch LED 4K Monitor

The Official Specs Click Here !

 

Basically it is 60 Hz, and I use it @ 1440p only. I am a console gamer, so it is okay for that, but since I also have 1080Ti, and most of the time it is expected to be able to reach over 60 FPS on most games @ 1440p -Obviously I will not notice that- however there might be some side effects of that if I am not mistaken, how can I prevent it from happening?

What exactly is your question? It isn't very clear. Do you have the monitor and are you wondering if using it at 1440p resolution causes side effects? In that case not that I know of.

Sorry I was not clear enough. I do own this monitor, but I don't use it for PC gaming. In case I wanted to play some games I might have issues like tearing for instance. I am asking about the best way to resolve such issues? My GPU is GTX 1080Ti...

Err, turn vsinc on? Also just use the native res and windows scaling, running a 4k display in 1440p when you have a 1080 ti is a crime against

the pc master race kind.

Ah I see. Well like @Rolling Potatoe said turn on Vsync to prevent tearing.
