noticed yesterdsay in hwinfo that my vccio cpu and pch voltages were a bit high.  They were on auto and the vccio cpu was up to 1.25... not sure if that has anything to do with whats happening or if its an os problem.   anyways, I have shutdown and start up set to verbatim so you can see what its doing, and it goes through the steps, but it never actually shuts down. screen goes black but after 20 seconds are so, it comes back to the main windows login screen.    up to this point, Ive not had this problem. everything worked normally.  I had to manually power down to get in to the bios to adjust vccio, and both are good now. but still having the shutdown problem.

any idea?

it is weird. i put this new motheboard and cpu in about 2 or 3 weeks ago. ran it stock for a week, then oc'd to 4.3. thats where its been since, (so for a 2 weeks max)   i tested everything before. startups, shutdowns, all the built in hardware, benches, stress test, etc. everything has been good until today.

FYI, the fella that coded HWInfo told me that the two voltages I was concerned about were invalid.  he would remove them from the next update.

Also, the shutdown issue on my computer was corrected by disabling fastboot in windows 10.  NOT in the bios.  I did not remove the overclock or make any other adjustments. All i did was uncheck that box, and now the PC shuts down fully.  This only started after the fall update. Im wondering if it was supposed to operate that way.  It Came back up almost as fast as a sleep cycle, but from a full shut down.   Idk.
