Actively cooled eps?

Can I blast a fan at an EPS connector and power the intel XE with just one of it?

ehm, no, it'll still melt i think.

 

+ 1 connector doesn't supply nearly enough power to it, and it's not how the mobo was designed so you might fry something..

 

i don't understand why you would want to do this... just why?

unless you undervolt it to shit i wouldnt run the xe on that board

says its supported on the page from what i can tell. 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

well it didnt mention that, but yah. make sure the PSU has some beefy wireing and connectors at both ends, slap some heatsinks on them and give both sides some airflow and you might be fine. you might not need the heatsinks but you can get 10 packs so cheap off ebay i still would

on the connectors, not the wire. you could try to do something on the wires themselves as well i guess but id just make sure to get a PSU with thick gauge EPS cables
