"processing" at B&H

I ordered an 8700k from B&H and the status has said "processing" for several days now. Does anyone know what that actually means?

Did it say preorder, or was it in stock?

I've never had them take longer than 24hrs to ship unless there was a Jewish holiday or the item was drop shipped. I'm in the same state as their headquarters though. As @dizmo asked, I'm also curious if the item explicitly said it was in stock.

It means that is validating your card and money and waiting for both your bank and a representative or two computers to shake hands and then they will being shipping to you.

B&H is always closed on Saturdays and closes at 1pm on Friday Eastern time.  Most carriers don't operate on Sunday, so things get delayed till Tuesday.  

With B&H, I've learned that if you order Mon-Wed, your stuff will go out that week, anytime later will get delayed at least 3-4 days due to internal processing.
