Hello all!

Budget: $2000 for parts and peripherals.

Location: United States

Aim: Solid all rounder. I occasionally play games, but I will mostly be using it for coding, video and photo editing, and number crunching. I needs to be small, have no windows and have decent cooling. I don't care about the look inside, just quality of components, price, and compatibility.

Monitors: Just one, 60Hz and 1080p is fine.

Peripherals: Mouse, keyboard, and building tools.

Power supply is eh

I've found black drives to be kinda loud imo

All this really good equipment but a 60hz 1080 monitor??

Are you sure you don't want a nicer monitor? If you already have a nice one, consider a Quadro, as they support 10-bit color.

The PSU is not very good. The Cooler Master V550 is available for under $60 atm, and is a very good unit for the price.

Are you sure you want a WD Black drive instead of a higher capacity one?

:)

What power supply would you recommend? Loudness is fine, I use headphones 24/7.

The plan is to upgrade to a better screen soon.

You know you can save a ton of cash with Ryzen if you don't play games very often, namely don't need the best 144hz gaming

there's also no reason to get a 1070ti for a 1080p 60hz display

an RX 580 + free-sync display should be pretty alright

Also this ITX case supports 240mm AIOs

Well nicer monitors are a lot more expensive, and I don't plan on gaming that much. I am moving to study CS and graphical design, which I don't think an insane screen is good for (yet at least)

I changed the PSU to the Cooler Master one, thanks for the input! :)

Isn't accurate colours important for creative work? And a higher resolution could give you more room to work with
