CPU Overclock

Im overclocking my AMD fx 6300 6 core cpu I need help!!!! Im at 4.5 GHz and at +.07 volts and thermals are at 60 degrees C. iv run prim95 for stress testing and have passed 20 min long sesh.

Any thoughts or anything?

Help on what? Do the stress test for 12 hours.

Should be alright for daily use and gaming. I've only stressed tested my overclock for like... 30 minutes and it has been running rock solid for 6 years... until I had it solve a 5000x5000 matrix on MATLAB.

Will do but do numbers look some what adequate for what im trying to do? I am a newbie

For voltage stay under 1.45v. What is your voltage and stay below 62c for stress testing. If the test fails before 12 hours then up the voltage or lower the clock

ok cool as far as the stress test should go any idea why a computer would just restart not frezz?

ok sounds good voltage in BIOS says 1.46v for me

No clue. I should look into that considering I do study comp sci. But I'm not to interested in the specifics when it comes to overclocking. Bluescreen, locking up, and sudden restarts all means the same thing to me when it comes to testing overclocks.
