Deep Cleaning Dirty System ..

ThreeStretch

I bought a used system and want to bling it buy adding a window and some LED strips, but the seller had smoked next to it for some time and its quite badly stained with tar residue. After tearing it down and pressure washing the case what's the best way to clean the components like the GFX Heat sink, case fans and mainboard (if possible)  .. ?

with rubbing alcohol just like what you do with thermal paste

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

I usually take the non-electronic parts off my pc, and clean them with a rather powerfull degreaser. I also do this with my (cheap) fans, after which I rinse it off with water. (to add a few drops of sewing machine oil afterwards) And ya, I smoke alot. :P
