Turn: Washingtons Spies

Hello, I just recently watched the first 3 seasons of the AMC original series Turn: Washingtons Spies. A period drama about a ring of spies during the colonial wars. 

 

It's not the most high budget production that AMC has made but it is a EXTREMELY good watch. The show has a catching story, excellent cinematography, intricate characters to the point where "the bad guys" don't really seem that bad. *cough* Major Hewlett *cough* 

 

My favorite part of the show is the conflict between Major Hewlett and Captain Simcoe. Eventually Simcoe joins the Queens Rangers while Major Hewlett is in command of the regulars (The Royal army) and even though the Major knows Simcoe is evil and is way out of line, he cant have armies of the crown engage in battle against each other. 

 

I'm really upset that the last season, season 4, is not on Netflix but it is still an amazing watch and I highly recommend it.
