How long did you wait?

If you want an easy way to pause and resume the download (thinking that picking a different server might help), just normally restart your PC. Windows Update will pause the update, terminate properly, and once you are back up, fully loaded, Windows Update will kick-in again (or you can force it run by a Check for update). It will "restart" the download, by scanning what it already acquired and compare it with the server, making sure everything is downloaded correctly, if not re-download it, and resume download operation.
