Is it possible? Oh yes. Is it feasible? If you are careful, certainly.

Is it cost effective? There's the rub. Assuming only the screen broke, a replacement screen can be had on eBay for probably not more than half the cost of a new monitor. If anything else broke, then you would be better off buying a new monitor entirely

You wouldn't look for an acer xf240h screen, you'd take the monitor apart, find the part number of the lcd, and do a search for that, since the only part Acer makes themselves of that monitor, is possibly the logo.
