Check for bent pins. You may have bent a couple when swapping the CPU.

Try your old PSU again.

Check all the cables (unplug and re-plug each one)

Are there any POST codes/beeps that can help with diagnosis? (you need a case speaker for the beeps to work, not normal speakers, it plugs into where the case LEDs and power switch plug in).

have you tried using the iGPU for display instead of the GPU?

Having issues with a Corsair AIO? Possible fix here:

Spoiler

Are you getting weird fan behavior, speed fluctuations, and/or other issues with Link?

Are you running AIDA64, HWinfo, CAM, or HWmonitor? (ASUS suite & other monitoring software often have the same issue.)

Corsair Link has problems with some monitoring software so you may have to change some settings to get them to work smoothly.

-For AIDA64: First make sure you have the newest update installed, then, go to Preferences>Stability and make sure the "Corsair Link sensor support" box is checked and make sure the "Asetek LC sensor support" box is UNchecked.

-For HWinfo: manually disable all monitoring of the AIO sensors/components.

-For others: Disable any monitoring of Corsair AIO sensors.

That should fix the fan issue for some Corsair AIOs (H80i GT/v2, H110i GTX/H115i, H100i GTX and others made by Asetek). The problem is bad coding in Link that fights for AIO control with other programs. You can test if this worked by setting the fan speed in Link to 100%, if it doesn't fluctuate you are set and can change the curve to whatever. If that doesn't work or you're still having other issues then you probably still have a monitoring software interfering with the AIO/Link communications, find what it is and disable it.

Did you change anything else in your setup? Is it 1x8GB module or 2x4GB? Try with one module in different slots. Are all cables securely in place? Did you check output with iGPU as well? Have you tried letting it sit without battery for a longer period of time? Have you tried stripping it all apart and only putting back the bare essentials? Since your 4590 was working with your board I assume it does support Haswell Refresh.

It's weird that your i5 isn't working anymore.

If you're still out of luck unplug everything that's not needed. That means your GPU as well.

And give it some time, some mainboard take a while for the inital boot and some dual EFI/BIOS boards can be a bit slow sometimes as well when reflashing. They boot in a cycle until they decided to reflash and then suddenly work again.

How should we know which bios you need? You never specified which exact mainboard you have. Just get the latest version. There are two H81M-ITX boards from AsRock. Choose the right one.

OP what was it that finally did it? Having this exact same problem. TIA

Wow, you dug this up from 3 years ago!! Nice!!

If you read the post above his remark there, it was suggested to wait on the initial post. Sometimes the board can take up to 180 seconds.

Best to clear the cmos first. Be sure the memory is in the correct slots in accordance to the motherboard manual.

All else fails, start a new thread.
