In general are the be Quite! fans pretty compatible. They offer a wide range of compatible sockets and even send you a new adapter if you have a new type of motherboard that is supported. I have an Shadowrock 2 and was thinking about upgrading to a AMD Ryzen and found out that they send you the new socked clamps if you mail them the bill from your motherboard. So that was a nice thing in my mind.

Also on there Website the show what types are compatible.

for example

Shadow rock 2

Intel socked 775, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-V3, 2066

AMD Socked 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, FM2+

That shout be pretty much all socked's  available

Most of bit older and popular coolers have wide socket range. In this sense 212 Evo is top dog. It has been around long enough to be compatible with almost all Intel sockets starting from LGA775 and AMDs FM/AM sockets.
