18 Pin MB Connector

I have just received an HP Z420 and was looking to replace the PSU with a Corsair AX760, so I can have enough connectors to connect up my GPU, 2 x 8 pin.

However, the HP power supply and motherboard has a 18 pin motherboard connector.

I've had a look online and found lots of adaptors that convert 20 to 18 pin, but i'm not sure on the reliability of these.

 

Another option I have though about is replacing the motherboard to get standard connections and just move the CPU and RAM across.

E5-1650 v2 and 64GB DDR3 ECC.

 

Any ideas on the best way of sorting this?
