computer freezes randomly and stop respoding

Computer will freeze randomly, no matter playing games or not.

Ran furmark + Aida64 stress test twice, the first run for 15 min with few stutters, the second run ran fine.

So thermal is not a problem.

Need help diagnosing this problem.

System:

i5-4690

Gigabyte H97n wifi

8GB Kingston ram

cooler master elite 130

Thermal is your problem, look at the CPU temps, 100 degrees, ouch...

It throttles but it doesn't crashes. Throttling was a must back than using stock cooler+SFF cases

Throttling can cause stutter.

Sorry for not being clear.... The computer freezes and stopped responding......

It is trying to protect itself from overheating by shutting itself down...

If furmark+Aida 64 doesn't crash the system because of thermals, i don't think it would crash on desktop....

Even Aida64 says "overheating detected"

Try remounting your cooler, see if that helps, your CPU should not run above 80 degrees in a stresstest IMO
