So I'm getting an Ikea Fredde desk and I need a magnetic Surge protector to be able to set it up at the bottom of my desk to better hide my cables. Does such a thing exist, or am I just out of luck? I've got a high end PC I'm building so I would need something to adequately protect everything. Here is the build if you are interested in seeing that:

I haven't heard of any magnetic power surge protectors, although you could look into getting adhesive velcro strips or just straight up duct taping it to the bottom of your desk

I'd prefer Velcro strips since that seems like a sturdier option than duct tape. Thanks for your help.

No problem! Good luck with the build, come back and post benchmarks for us all when you're done! :D

You can buy flat magnets that have adhesive on one side, but I personally like using velcro a lot more, it's very strong.

If you are going to do any OC I would get a better CPU cooler.

Don't know if it is still available cuz I haven't seen it for a pretty good while but used to be able to get some stuff that is pretty much like what you're looking for.  It was a magnetic strip, about 3 inches wide with sticky stuff on one side so that you could use it on something like a power strip.  Used a lot of it while I was in the Air Force and still have some of it in a box around here somewhere.  Sorry, can't remember what it was called but I know it exists.  Just got to look for it.

Found this with a google search.  Maybe this is what you're looking for and it looks like the stuff I used to use.
