Hello i have a question...I recently bought Maximus IX code motherboard which supports using two Nvme drives in RAID to be bootable and so used for Windows install, but I have a slight problem...I got my hands on two PM961 drives (basicly 960 EVO only oem version.) One of the drives gets installed under a sheild on motherboard which isnt a problem and is already there...problem is that second drive is installed verticaly on the board which in my case cannot do because the is my watercooling reservoar in its way. So I wonder if I can buy a PCIe to M.2 adapter Like this one below and unstall it in the bottom pci express slot and still configure drives in bios to run in bootable RAID ?
