ROG Strix GPU Lighting Mismatched

For a while now the lighting on the front and back of my Strix 1070 has been oddly mismatched Whenever I select purple using the aura sync software the front has the right colour, but the back turns dark pink, when I select blue, the back turns mint green. I haven't been able to find any other people with a similar issue so I was wondering if anyone else has an explanation for this. I included some pictures of the problem.

Some monkeys must have plugged the connector the wrong way.

Yeah now that I actually think about, maybe it was because my PC got launched from the back seat of a car after a sudden stop. That might have something to do with it.
