Connect Android to iPhone Adapter Audi

I need your help.

To be able to charge my Oneplus 5 and use it hands-free I need to modify this adapter for an iPhone 3gs: adapter

As the car is from 2004 there are no adapters for usb c. I tried to connect my phone (via dash-usb c adapter) but it stops charging after 5sec or so.

It seems like the adapter is waiting for some sort of signal. Does anyone have an idea?

Is that a 3.2 Quattro? My dad did something similar to a phone adapter he installed in his '03 C5 S6. I'm gonna go ask him how he managed to get it working.
