Hi everyone. I just bought a Dell optiplex 9020 with an i5 4570 and and 8gigs of ram along with 128 gb ssd.

So I'm thinking of converting it into a gaming PC. I ordered an additional 1 tb HDD for game storage and I have an RX 470 in a computer I don't use anymore and was gonna use that for the video card. Also I grabbed a bronze evga 500 watt PSU. Should i be all set to go?

sure, assuming the motherboard won't throw a hissy fit for being a OEM motherboard and accept the GPU

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

You should be good to go if the board doesn't use a proprietary power connection. I know Dell does that from time to time on their OptiPlex workstations. Just double check. The mounting points for the PSU on the case should still be standard ATX.

I think it's standard. I bought a full size tower version instead of a slim model

Double check yours. I just googled a photo of the 9020 MT (not SFF) and it looks like it uses a proprietary connector for ATX power.
