no. not at all. it wont even go into the socket lol. the Q6600 uses the LGA775 socket, which has about two thirds the pins of the LGA1150 socket.

No the Q6600 uses LGA 775.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
