I bought this to try and see if it would work with my rig.  

I have an i7 7700k

16gb rgb Corsair

One ssd

One HDD

 

I don't need a GPU since I am only making music.

 

And this powered on just fine.  I have a Midi keyboard plugged in and powered USB as well and I have had zero problems recording and playing. 

 

I did the PSU calculator and the first time I did it it said I need 400watts and suggested an 800w PSU. Overkill

 

Then I used another PSU calculator and it said I need about 189w

 

However everything seems stable with this INWin PSU. 

 

Odd.  

 

Are there any potential problems I might run into?

 

Again I have zero desire to add a GPU.

 

The HDD doesn't fit but I'll swap it for another SSD and add an M.2 

 

So I should be plenty good on power.  I hope.
