Using a Raspberry Pi 0 running the latest version of Retropie and I have a few issues I'd like to address.

#1  I can't exit games, I should be able to press "START" and "SELECT" at the same time on my controller, triggering the exit function.  This, however, is not working for me what do I do?

#2  Stupid question but, is there a way to connect my RPI0 to my network WITHOUT a dongle? I had an LG TV dongle that I switched the drivers on so I could use it like a regular wifi dongle but it's not working with my pi I'm afraid, any suggestions?

#3  How do I add DOS games WITHOUT connecting to my network?

1# Sounds like a driver issue have you tried reinstalling the OS?

2# You can plug in an external board with RJ45 port to use ethernet as an alternative.

3# The easiest way to add games to your pi without using the network would be by using a USB stick and move files there manually.

Thank you, I solved the exiting issue. Unsure why but it's bound to the hotkey? If I press the hotkey and start at the same time it exits, same with saving a game.

I've been using a USB stick for the sake of convenience but I don't know where to put the games on the stick.

You can try

  • first create a folder called retropie on your USB stick
  • plug it into the pi and wait for it to finish blinking
  • pull the USB out and plug it into a computer
  • add the roms to their respective folders (in the retropie/roms folder)
  • plug it back into the raspberry pi
  • wait for it to finish blinking
  • refresh emulationstation by pressing F4, or choosing quit from the start menu

Yes, I use the USB stick already so I've properly set up my stick.  For future reference though, it's retropie-mount.  My issue is, what folder in the "ROMS" folder do I put the DOS games in?  There are folders for each game platform(GBA games go in the GBA folder, NES games go in the NES folder etc.) so what platform would DOS games be under?

I am taking a wild guess here but it could be

/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc

Yeah I tried that too, there is no PC section.  I'm assuming it's because I didn't install it on the pi via binary or source.
