Which motherboard do you think suits best for my build https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/VLb86X

I've been thinking between those two, but im open to suggestions:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z270X-Ultra-Gaming-rev-10#kf

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z270-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html

My budget is 150£. The motherboard needs good LED control and has to look nice :D

Dont get 7th gen!!!! I hope this is not too late to say

Out of the two brands MSI has better RGB support than Gigabyte (which doesnt care much about RGB). However Gigabyte's products are superior if not equal in other aspects.

No, he is saying the only good thing about MSI is their RGB features, which is trumped by ASUS. If I was you get an ASUS z270 board like the Prime series or ROG series, as the new z370 boards should have lowered the price a bit.

An updated parts list, Seeing as your GPU is asus, an asus motherboard and some G SKILL RGB RAM, which is cheaper than the corsair ram, you have better control over the RGB. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/szt7m8

Do you by any chance know what app controls the rgb RAM?

In the market now, it's 8th gen for those willing to pay a larger sum of money, and Ryzen for those who aren't. 7th gen just got squished from both performance and pricing standpoint by the other two lineups, making it the worst CPU you can buy new at this time.
