RGB fan help needed

Hi there,

It might be a silly question but i want to buy a new case for my system, im looking to buy the coolermaster masterbox lite 5 RGB with 3 rgb fans included.

Now my motherboard has no rgb headers and also only 1 sys fan header, i think the case includes a splitter but then i still have no rgb, can i connect those fans to a separate rgb controller from china or is it made to only work with software?? Also what would be the alternatives if i still want lighted fans in the front of my case.
