Let's start out with my hardware list:

MOBO: Asus Z170-A

The problem part: Intel Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V integrated to the MOBO

CPU: Intel i5 6600K

GPU: GTX 1080

Windows 10 x64 version 1709

Now the problem:

I have recently gone through the trouble of wiring my computer to Ethernet instead of using my cheapo USB wireless card. For about an hour it was working just fine but out of the blue it disconnected and wouldn't read the connection unless I disconnected the cord and reconnected, but it would only stay connected for about one minute before doing the same thing. I have gone through the standard suite of troubleshooting: try a different cord, use a different LAN port, disconnect-reconnect, make sure that the latest driver is installed, uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the network adapter the Intel Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V but with no success. I have searched through the sub-threads and have seen a few others have been having similar issues with the same network adaptor. I have tried the solution found in the post here but it didn't work for me and the other posts have been unresolved. At this point in time, I am out of Ideas on what to do. If someone with more experience has any ideas, I'm willing to hear you out, and thanks in advance.

Are you sure you don't have the same ISP that I do?  Suddenlink.

plug your computer into the router, and power cycle your modem, and router.

then go into cmd and type:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

then reboot your computer

How do Reavers clean their spears?

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again.

That didn’t do it either. Thanks for the suggestion though.
