AIO for 7700k

Go to solution Solved by phongle123,

If you've had it for less than 2 years then it's still under warranty. The warranty replacement program (at least from corsair) has a you can buy for the full price of the AIO again and they will send you another one. And once they receive and inspect the damaged AIO and approve it they will refund you your money. This way you don't have to wait 1.5-2 months for them to send you a new one.

Hi my Corsair H110I GTX finally died on me or something, the pump no longer seems to work: cpu sits at 80C when starting pc and the water temp in Corsair link is 55+C.

So I am looking for a replacement, currently I can get Fractal Celsius S24 for about 105 Euro, Corsair H110i is about 115 euros and then Alphacool Eisbear 240 and Fractal S36 for around 125 euros

Which one would you recommend? I have an NZT H440 and will either use Noctua 3000PWm fans or corsair SP120 fans on the cooler

I would pick the Fractal S36 because it has the biggest radiator.

I think the purchase date is over 2 years already, on their website it says they have 5 years warrany for H series AIO is that correct?

Oh 5 years? I must have remembered the wrong one. I just checked the box, 5 years that's even better. So yea, the most cost saving measure would be to send it in for an RMA. And if you KNOW for sure it's broken by itself and not like you messed it up on purpose of course. Then you can ask them if you can buy another one and have they refund you the money once the AIO Inspection checks out. I didn't do this my first time because I thought it would be quick, but it took 2 months. They kept telling me they were on break and check back next week. It happened for 2 weeks.

Well, you can compare Radiators, Fans and Pumps.

Radiators:

Kelvin s36 has ~9FPI,

Eisbaer has ~12FPI

Kelvin 0:1 Eisbaer

Pumps:

Kelvin has a 12v 2400RPM dc pump with a max of 72l/h and a static pressure of 1.0m H²O

Eisbär has a 13,5v 2600RPM dc pump with a max of 70l/h  and 0,85m H²O

Kelvin 1:1 Eisbaer (without considering noise / effiency on lower pump speeds than 100%)

Fans kinda suck on both. Not useless but also not the best.

Kelvin 2:2 Eisbaer

But the coolest thing ever is that you can buy the Eisbaer's Pump seperately and build your own little custom AiO.

http://www.aquatuning.de/water-cooling/kits-und-systems/spare-partsaccessories/20228/alphacool-eisbaer-solo-2600rpm-black

You could buy a thicker 360mm Radiator with 16FPI, choose your own fans and tubing and this is actually as good as it can get buy using a CPU mounted Pump/Res/Cooler combination. Ofc this would cost a little more money but also equals in much better performance as long as you only use your CPU to get cooled by it. They are advertised as being able to do more then just a CPU, but i wouldnt recommend it since the pumps on every AiO are some kinda weak, unless you wanna cool your CPU and GPU by only one rad which is kinda missing the point of having Watercooling from begin with (performance wise).

Well I will be using my Corsair SP120 High Performance fans on it, so it really doesn't matter what kind of fans it comes with.

I decided to go with the eisbaer 360 because it has a copper radiator while the Fractal one has aluminium.  + eisbaer has quick disconnect. with difference that makes it worth to me.

So I will be just sending the Corsair AIO in for RMA and selling the replacement.

i havent found much very detailed stuff but on the site they are saying:

The Kelvin Series water cooling system is constructed with pure copper in both the radiator and the water block, along with brass fittings.

But the Eisbaer rad is still better though. Good choice.
