I can't really read the text but 12 cores 24 threads for $329 sounds unrealistic to me since they have a 12 core part for $850  which would be a more than 50% price cut and with amd's current financial situation I just don't see them wrecking their profits that hard

IIRC Zen 2 is supposed to keep the same price points, but add 2 more cores to each CCX, so you'd go from a $330 8 core to a $330 12 core.

If it's true that's amazing but I just can't imagine them not trying to make extra profit from these amazing new CPUs

Who says the processes aren't going to have matured enough to where the CCX cost that little? Remember, the entire point of the CCX is that they're cheaper to produce than one 12 core die. Why do you think we have dirt cheap 8 cores right now?
