Setting signature to blank when content has been in previously

Bug Description: When trying to remove signature completely through user the trash icon/selecting and delete does not work as intended. The content will disappear until submit/save is hit at which point the page refreshes and only part of the content is deleted (some characters remain and some as weird compressed looking characters). This can be repeated and some more might go but still unable to delete entire signature. 

 

Browser: 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
